Stonehelm - Stonehelm (2010)

Stoner metal. Every song revolves around drugs, sometimes even aliens or pot-smoking zombies (I'm not even kidding), what's not to love? The production is thick as fuck, riffs are really groovy, guitars are downtuned, vocals are murky and echo-y. Sometimes you're slowly headbanging away to the tranquil buzz of the guitars and sometimes you get a catchy-as-fuck solo thrown into your face. It's nothing incredibly new or revolutionary, just stoner metal done right - and it's great!
