Blaspherian - Infernal Warriors Of Death (2011)

Okay, it seemed for a while that the death metal scene has really turned to quality instead of just coughing up anything. Both last and current year have been overwhelmed by releases that are full to the brink with Immolation and Incantation influences, which is undoubtedly a good thing.

Now, while this is an amazingly solid release with it's own twist and oozing brutality, I can't help myself but wonder why should I listen to this, or "these" as a matter of fact. Why shouldn't I just stick to the classics?

There you are, a little philosophical conundrum. Should we all listen to these new releases that are actually clones (even if they provide a tiny piece of their own identity) or should we just stay with the unbeatable cult classics such as Immolation and Incantation?

Hop on down to the comment section, tell us what you think.
