Punishing, fast paced technical brutal death. These guys have great skill, just listen how they incorporate those incredible melodies. Don't get me wrong, Gorgasm aren't flowery or weakish at all, the music is always sick and heavy but these guys add lots of very neat and technical solutions to make it melodic at times, and it doesn't lack brutality or gets boring for a minute.

Gorgasm - Masticate To Dominate (2003) [originally posted: 2008-06-25]
Gorgasm have layed new standards for modern brutal death metal with their second full-length. In my opinion it is one of the best examples of this style today. In a nutshell, it's characterized by straight-to-the point, relentlessly brutal, fast, highly technical songs. No particular high or low points, this album's a solid effort worth taking example of.
