The Black Dahlia Murder - Deflorate (2009)

The Black Dahlia Murder crosses the Atlantic again on “Deflorate” to pay homage to their favorite music. They don’t stray at all from their successful formula off their first three albums, nor have they really added anything new. That is perfectly fine, as they are laser-focused on playing a fast, heavy, and completely uncompromised style, and they clearly have a great time doing it. Their conviction is infectious. The blackened thrash is precise, heavy and well-written. The Black Dahlia Murder knows their job, and they do it well.
