Its been a year since Adramelech was posted last, so here is the follow up. Pure Blood Doom doesn't quite measure up to the standard of Psychostasia, but it is still a quality example of Finnish death. It keeps most of the qualities of the previous album but feels "tighter" and has higher production quality (not necessarily positive attributes). The songwriting is a bit less interesting in comparison but is still superior to most other death metal of the period. Not Adramelech's best but a very enjoyable listen.
