Wolves in the Throne Room, consisting of two brothers (Nathan and Aaron Weaver), is a black metal band from Olympia, Washington. The reputation for US black metal isn't all that great, but this band really steps it up with something original. Between ambient sections, operatic vocals in some passages, long winding passages of true-to-form black metal drumming and riffing, there's bound to be something for any black metal fan to enjoy. It's hard to equate them to any other band, but Drudkh comes close. Black Cascade and Two Hunters are definitely worth downloading. Check 'em out.
