These days, prog/tech metal is very widespread, and acknowledged to all people with a broad horizon in metal music. COSMOGENESIS truly impressed me as one of the leading Prog/Tech metal bands of all time. This is their second release and it's very apart from their first album RETRIBUTION, which contains various guest musicians and another line-up. COSMOGENESIS has a spacey theme and you can really feel it in the music because they use a lot of sound/guitar effects (not in an overkilling kind of way). This album is an impressive combination of fast blast beats, mezmerizing guitar riffs and sweet German perfection. ( You thought i was gonna write "pussy" hohohoh)
