First of, let me excuse myself for not posting anything since 2 weeks ago (or more, lulz), but as a gift, I bring you this new EP, which is due to be released next year (yes, I know, I'm super cool).These guys, Son of Aurelius, play a very, very good kind of technical death metal. Songs can translate from sounding very melodic (gothenburgish style lul) to sound very progressively brutal, it's amazing. The musicianship on this EP is pretty fucking perfect, like, these guys totally know what they are doing, and not just wank and pull riffs out of their asses, even if someone tell syou this is wank, it's not. I believe the bass player is a teacher or some shit like that, anyways, these guys totally know how to play their instruments. On the vocal department, John Miller (vocalist) pulls of some fucking nice low pitched gutturals and high pitched screams, I fucking love this kind of vocal variety on muh metulz, and so must you.
So overall this is a good release by these new guys in the bizzz, I can't even fucking believe they started the band on february this year.
For fans of technical progrssvie death metal, plain and simple.
