Kreator - Violent Revolution (2001)

Kreator promised that 'Violent Revolution' was to be a return to the bands roots. And as luck would have it the band has actually done that exactly. They have turned back the clocks 11 years to the 'Coma of Souls' album. Hell they even put the 'Coma of Souls' demon on the cover again (Maybe that was just insurance for people that were not sure if Kreator had really returned to their roots). I think had this album been released back in 1992 (when the 'Renewal' album actually was released) no one would no the difference. This album really sounds just like old school Kreator at there very best. So of course that means Kreator is playing 100% thrash metal again. No lame industrial or keyboard stuff anymore like everything released after 'Coma of Souls.'
