I didn't know of this German band called Craving up into a few days ago. The band and their debut album is fantastic! One big thing for me that I loved about this record is the vocals. They incorporate harsh rasps and death metal growls throughout the entire album and Helge Stang of ex-Equilibrium fame and presently Arafel fame does guest vocals to make the vocal performances even shine more bright. The instrumentals are amazing and majority of every song has a fast tempo. In ways, but not a clone, the band reminds me of Blackguard and their melodies. Everything that is good about Blackguard can be found on this release and more. Whereas Blackguard fails to deliver, Craving delivers in all aspects. I hope you like it as much as I did!
