Revocation might as well be the embodiment of plain kickass metal. Formed in 2006 they're a quite young band, although professional beyond doubt. They released their debut in 2008 but noone really gave a shit, even though it was ridiculously good. With the release of their new album, they seem to be growing more popular by the day. Often labeled simply technical death/thrash, Revocation play an amalgamation of a fuckton of different styles. Maybe it's just me, but I think their music bears a resemblence to Between The Buried And Me. Technical and progressive, transcending different atmospheres and styles during the procession of one song. That, plus Psycroptic style instrumentals mixed with old-school thrash. Both albums are nothing short of excellent, I recommend them to everyone who believes they have decent taste in music, just so you realize the fact you've been wrong till the point of checking out Revocation.
