Black Hateful metal from germany !!!
Throne of the forgotten, although Vargsang (this is a one-man band) is German, has the classic Norwegian production-bad, that is. But no-one can say that it's unmatching. Indeed, Vargsang manages to create a cold and hateful atmosphere, with guitars distorted to the point of sounding like a shaving machine. Nothing here will make you sleepy, as ultra-fast parts and mid-tempo breaks co-exist in a very interesting way. The vocals are rather Darkthrone-ish. The riffing is in the vein of Darkthrone's "Under a funeral moon". Careful, I certainly do not mean that this album is a Darkthrone rip-off, I mean the style that it is played, high-pitched riffing and all.
