The Chasm are a weird death metal band from Mexico City. They've been around since 1992 and this is their 7th album, but apparently noone gives a shit about them and they're only appreciated by the obscure deathmetal seeking "elite". Their music has a touch of doom metal and progressive/atmospheric death, if you consider that a genre. The new album seems to me like a mix of old Finnish death mixed with Arghoslent. I think you all know this means it's a lot better than whatever you just listened to.
