Amorphis has been around for over 15 years, and in that time the Finnish band has released some pretty good albums. Bands have lineup changes all the time, but changing vocalists is especially risky. On their seventh album they have a new singer, Tomi Joutsen (Sinisthra). The band doesn't lose a step, and actually have a new energy their last couple albums have lacked. Their style is diverse, blending traditional metal with elements of death, goth and folk metal.
